Can I buy further shares in my property?
Yes, after the first 3 months but first you need to decide whether you would like to buy some extra shares or purchase the freehold.
If you own an apartment, you can purchase all of the property but it will remain leasehold with a service charge to pay.
Please note that some rural properties will have a restriction on, which means the maximum share you can purchase is 80%.
If it’s extra shares, these must usually be in multiples of 10% (subject to any rounding off of the figures).
