How to unfreeze your boiler
The freezing weather can not only cause trouble with your heating but also your water pipes. The following video from Severn Trent Water offers advice on what to do in this situation as well as how to turn your stop tap off.
It is important to know where your stop tap is to avoid unneccessary damage to your property should you experience burst pipes (this often occurs after a period of freezing weather). The location of the stop tap can vary from property to property but can often be found under your kitchen sink or your bathroom or airing cupboard.
